World Day of Social Justice will be observed on 20 February 2026 with a special programme in New Delhi. The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment will organise the event in collaboration with National Law University, Dwarka. The observance will focus on constitutional values, social inclusion and equal opportunity for marginalised sections.

The central feature of the programme will be the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India. The reading will be led by the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri B. L.
