Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 Announced in New Delhi

Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, a global conference-cum-exhibition for the power and electricity sector, will be held from 19 to 22 March 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The summit aims to show India’s role in the global energy transition and create a platform for dialogue on the future of electricity and sustainable energy systems.

Key Details of the Summit

The four-day event will be held under the theme – Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability. Connecting Globally. It is designed to bring together stakeholders from government, industry, academia and civil society. The focus will be on generation, transmission, distribution, storage and smart consumption of electricity.

Participation and Format

The summit is expected to host:

  • More than 500 exhibitors.
  • Over 25,000 attendees.
  • More than 1,000 delegates.
  • Around 300 speakers from India and abroad.

It will include over 50 high-level conference sessions, expert panel discussions, thematic pavilions and technology showcases across the electricity and clean energy value chain.

Objectives and Sectoral Significance

The summit will serve as a platform for policymakers, CEOs, regulators, investors, innovators and solution providers. A special Buyer Seller Meet will seek to accelerate partnerships and business opportunities in the global power supply chain. The event is also expected to support cross-border collaboration and investment mobilisation for clean electricity deployment.

India’s Electricity and Energy Vision

The summit is being positioned as a reflection of India’s shift from addressing power shortages to managing surplus, resilience and universal excellence. It will showcase technologies and solutions in power generation, transmission, distribution, energy storage, battery technology, energy efficiency, energy transition and start-up innovation.
