The Bilaspur district administration in Himachal Pradesh has launched an artificial intelligence-based digital learning initiative called Padhai with AI for students preparing for competitive examinations. On the same day, the state government also signed a Memorandum of About to promote geothermal energy development in Himachal Pradesh as part of its green energy goals.
AI-Based Learning Initiative

Bilaspur’s Deputy Commissioner explained that the initiative is being implemented with support from NTPC. The platform is expected to provide modern, technology-based and quality educational facilities. The launch event also brought into light the role of district administration in using digital tools to improve learning outcomes at the local level.
Geothermal Energy MoU Signed
Earlier in the day, the Himachal Pradesh government signed an MoU with M/s Geotropy India Pvt. Ltd. to advance geothermal energy exploration. The agreement is linked to the state’s aim of becoming a Green Energy State. The government has identified geothermal energy as a clean and round-the-clock source that can reduce dependence on conventional power sources. The Chief Minister directed the company to begin exploration work immediately.
