On 22 July 2026 the Ministry of Coal will sign an Implementation Agreement with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in New Delhi for technical cooperation on scientific mine closure, institutional capacity building, knowledge sharing and post‑mining development.
