India’s 40th AAHAR International Food and Hospitality Fair was inaugurated in New Delhi, bringing together stakeholders from the food processing, hospitality and export sectors. The event is jointly organised by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and the India Trade Promotion Organisation from 10 to 14 March. The fair is designed to promote business linkages, showcase products and explore export opportunities for Indian enterprises.

India has concluded nine FTAs in the last three and a half years, giving access to 38 developed and prosperous countries. The fair is expected to help Indian exporters, especially in agricultural, marine and processed food products, tap wider markets.
