CIPS Awards

The CIPS Awards are one of the leading recognitions concerning procurements across the world. It is conducted by London-based The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) – a global not-for-profit organization and professional body dedicated for promoting best practices in procurement and supply management.
The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) won this prestigious award under the category of “Best Use of Digital Technology”. It was shortlisted for two other categories – “Public Procurement Project of the Year” and “Best Initiative to Build a Diverse Supply Base”. The GeM platform was launched by the Indian Government to enhance transparency, efficiency and speed of the public procurement within the country.
