COVID-19 Management Patch
The COVID-19 Management Patch was introduced by the National Information Centre (NIC) to allow judicial officers to retain only urgent cases and prevent overcrowding of courtrooms. The patch will enable the courts to proceed in a systematic and planned fashion, significantly reducing the number of people present in district and subordinate courts.
The COVID-19 Management Patch is a set of protocols focusing on measures that are to be adopted to ensure smart scheduling of cases, allot time slots for hearing and avoiding overlapping of hearings involving the same advocates in different courts. Its purpose is to prevent all stakeholders litigants, lawyers, court staff and judges from getting infected with novel coronavirus.
