INS Tabar

INS Tabar is a Talwar-class stealth Frigate built by Russia for the Indian Navy. It is armed with versatile range of weapons and sensors and is one of the oldest stealth frigates belonging to the Indian Navy. This vessel is part of the Indian Navy’s Western Fleet, which comes under the Western Naval Command.

The naval ship will be participating in Russian Navy Day celebrations and joint exercises with friendly navies in Africa and Europe. The naval vessel will be passing through the Gulf of Aden, Red Sea, Suez Canal, Mediterranean Sea, North Sea and Baltic Sea to make port calls at Djibouti, Egypt, Italy, France, UK, Russia, Netherlands, Morocco, and Arctic Council countries like Sweden and Norway.
