Ministry of Cooperation

The Ministry of Cooperation was constituted by the Indian Government to achieve its vision of ?Sahkar se Samriddhi?. The ministry will be providing separate administrative, legal and policy framework for the cooperatives in the country. Its overall objective is to promote cooperative-based development model in the country.
The central ministry will seek to streamline complex processes to ensure ease of doing business for cooperatives and also enable the development of the Multi-State Co-operatives (MSCS). Cooperatives are those companies tha t are owned and managed by the people who work in it.
