NATRAX in Indore is the longest High Speed Track in Asia. It is also the fifth-longest in the world. It covers an area spanning across 1,000 acres of land. This 11.3 km-long track was developed to support wide categories of vehicles from two wheelers to heavy tractor-trailers.

HST is used for measuring the maximum speed capability of high-end cars like BMW, Mercedes, Lamborghini etc., which cannot be tested on the normal roads. The MATRAX can test several other aspects like constant speed fuel consumption, emission tests, stability evaluation etc. It will help manufacturers develop prototype of such vehicles that the Indian conditions can support.
