Pusa Decomposer Technology

Pusa Decomposer Technology was developed by the ICARÂ’s Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI). This microbial spray derives its name from the Pusa campus of the IARAI in New Delhi. The fungi-based liquid solution can soften hard stubbles so that they can mix with the soil in the field and become compost. This significantly reduces the farmersÂ’ dependence on stubble burning.
Pusa Decomposer takes around 20 to 25 days to create the compost. The decomposer works even in fields where stubble has not been finely chopped with a Super Straw Management Super (Super SMS) machine.
