Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumihin Majdur Nyay Yojana

Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumihin Majdur Nyay Yojana was launched by the Chhattisgarh government to provide minimum wages to landless laborers so that they can access basic amenities. Around 12 lakh landless families are expected to benefit from this scheme.
Under this scheme, the state government will be providing Rs.6,000 to the beneficiaries each year. The total outlay is Rs.200 crore. This amount was included in the supplementary budget for the financial year 2021-22. To ensure seamless execution of the scheme, the government has put in place a mechanism that enables the beneficiaries to resolve any issues related bank accounts within 15 days.
