The Bascule Bridge was originally built by Waagner-Biro Bridge Systems AG. The renovation will include comprehensive structural and electro-mechanical upgradation. The aim is to improve operational safety, reliability, and efficiency. The modernisation is intended to ensure safer and faster movement of cargo and vehicles inside the port premises.
