The Indian Air Force will present its indigenous Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv through the Sarang Helicopter Display Team at the Singapore Airshow 2026. The event will be held at the Changi Exhibition Centre from 3 to 8 February. The display will show India’s aerospace capability, indigenous defence manufacturing, and the operational flexibility of the ALH Dhruv.
Sarang Helicopter Display Team
The Sarang team is known for precision flying, close formation manoeuvres, and disciplined aerobatic execution. It operates a fleet of five ALH Dhruv helicopters. Established in 2005, the team has become one of the Indian Air Force’s most visible outreach and demonstration units.
ALH Dhruv Capabilities
The ALH Dhruv is an indigenously designed and manufactured utility helicopter. Its display at an international air show will underline its versatility across multiple roles. These include:
- Military operations.
- Humanitarian assistance.
- Disaster relief missions.

Singapore Airshow 2026
Singapore Airshow is Asia’s premier biennial aerospace and defence exhibition. It brings together air forces, defence companies, and aviation stakeholders from across the world. The 2026 edition will include aerial performances by four international display teams and a static display of 37 aircraft. The event serves as a platform for strategic dialogue, technology showcase, and industry partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region.
International Track Record
The Sarang team has previously performed at major global air shows, including the MAKS International Air Show in Russia, the Dubai Air Show, the Bahrain International Air Show, and earlier editions of the Singapore Airshow. Beyond aerobatic displays, the team also supports domestic events and HADR operations, reflecting the Indian Air Force’s readiness and outreach.
