Madhya Pradesh Launched Roadmap to ‘Aatma Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh’

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has launched the roadmap to ‘Aatma Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh’ on November 12, 2020. By doing so, Madhya Pradesh has become the first state that have adopted a programme of self-reliance. This roadmap has been launched in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Aatma rbhar Bharat’ initiative.

Highlights

The Chief Minister of the Madhya Pradesh highlighted that, when they assumed office on March 23, 2020, the government was inherited an empty coffer. The economy of the state was highly affected due to Covid-19. fThe Chief Minister further claimed that the state will turn problems into opportunities and will make MP Atmanirbhar.

Government’s Plan

Government assured that, efforts will be made to ensure the fast paced growth in the state. Under the Aatma Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh initiative,  the state will be linked with different economic activities. The Chief Minister highlighted that the Chambal Expressway is in the making. Electricity supply is being improved in the state. Apart from that, other sources of energy will also be worked upon. The government would also work upon doubling the farmers’ income.

Aatma Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to release the roadmap of Atmanirbhar. The government has prepared a clear strategy on infrastructure development, health & education, economy & employment and good governance on the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. The government is aimed at being “Vocal for Local” on the line of prime minister’s vision.  The Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh Roadmap-2023 vision was released in the presence of Amitabh Kant, Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog through video conference.
