On 6 July 2026 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated Prerna Park at Kali Ghat on the Yamuna banks in Prayagraj and flagged off the Ekta Boat Race held in memory of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee.

  • Location and developer: Prerna Park is at Kali Ghat, Prayagraj, developed by Prayagraj Municipal Corporation on the Yamuna riverbank.
  • Cost: Park developed at a reported cost of ₹1 crore.
  • Statues unveiled: Bronze statues of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Ashok Singhal were installed in the park.
