Snowfield Duty-2021

Snowfield Duty-2021 is the military exercise conducted by the People?s Liberation Army?s Tibet military command in the Tibet plateau region. It used multidimensional tactics to improve the security of border regions. The exercise commenced at night. The military exercise is significant because of the involvement of large number of troops and the usage of wide array of tactics and combat elements.
During these drills, the PLA used artillery with howitzers and multiple rocket launcher systems. They practiced targeting communication centres and helicopter pads. It also involved setting up of reconnaissance unit at the peak of a 6,100 meter mountain. Anti-aircraft batteries, including tanks, infantry and assault vehicles, were used in the exercise.
