VB-G Ram G Youth Digital Campaign Launched

The Ministry of Rural Development has launched a nationwide VB-G Ram G Youth Digital Campaign in collaboration with the MY Bharat portal. The initiative aims to engage rural youth in development activities, local livelihood promotion, and nation-building. It provides a digital platform for young people to showcase village-level progress, grassroots innovations, and community-led change through creative formats.

Objective of the Campaign

The campaign seeks to channel the energy and creativity of youth aged 15 to 29 years towards rural development. It encourages participation in employment generation, local enterprise, and awareness of welfare schemes. The initiative also aims to strengthen the role of youth as active partners in Viksit Bharat.

Registration and Participation

  • Eligible participants can register online through the MY Bharat or MyGov portals.
  • The last date for registration is March 20, 2026.
  • Youth can submit stories of development work and local innovation from their villages.

Competitions Under the Campaign

  • Video Challenge: Participants must create a 30 to 60 second reel on development work or livelihood-related activities in their village.
  • Logo Design Competition: A creative logo reflecting the campaign’s objectives will be selected. The winner will receive ₹50,000.
  • Online Quiz: Participants can earn a digital certificate by answering 20 questions on Viksit Bharat – G Ram G Act. 2025 and government welfare schemes.

Significance for Rural Development

The campaign is designed to give a new identity to rural progress by combining digital participation with local development.
