- Scientific name: Antaram idukki — new genus and species described 24 June 2026 in the Journal of the Lepidopterists’ Society.
- Higher classification: Subfamily Arctiinae, family Erebidae (tiger moths).
- Diagnostic characters: Distinct combination of external and genital morphological features separating Antaram from related genera.
- Name etymology: Genus name derives from Sanskrit meaning “difference”.
