India Post and the Prime Minister’s Museum and Library have signed a Memorandum of About to deepen collaboration in preserving and presenting India’s democratic and national journey. Philatelic Exhibition Highlights
The exhibition showcases a curated collection of postage stamps linked to India’s cultural heritage and historical legacy. It includes thematic displays on:
- Presidents of India
- Prime Ministers of India
- Freedom Fighters
- National unity and democracy
Special Postal Releases
A special postcard has been released on the Constitution, Dr B. R. Ambedkar, and the foundation day of the Prime Ministers Museum. The release underlines the role of philately in public education and historical remembrance. It also connects postage stamps with key constitutional and democratic themes.
India Post’s Democratic Role
India Post has been brought into light as an important institution in India’s democratic journey for more than 75 years. The collaboration reflects a wider effort to promote constitutional values, the legacy of Dr Ambedkar, and the vision of a self-reliant, strong and developed India.
