Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Conference 2026

The Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Conference 2026 will be held in Jaipur on 6 January 2026 as part of India’s build-up to the India AI Impact Summit 2026. The event will focus on how Artificial Intelligence can support governance reform, economic growth, innovation, and inclusive development. It will also strengthen Rajasthan’s position in India’s emerging digital and technology landscape.

Key Participants

The conference will bring together senior leaders from the Union and Rajasthan governments. These include Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Electronics and Information Technology; Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology and Commerce and Industry; Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Rajasthan; and Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, Cabinet Minister for IT & Communication, Rajasthan.

Main Themes

The agenda will cover several policy and technology areas:

  • AI for public service delivery and governance.
  • Ethical and responsible AI.
  • AI, employment, and future skills.
  • Rajasthan’s AI startup and innovation ecosystem.

The discussions will also examine whether AI can help India move from an outsourcing-led model to one focused on world-class intellectual property creation.

The conference will feature key announcements and the signing of Memoranda of About to strengthen Rajasthan’s AI ecosystem. It will encourage innovation and faster adoption of AI across priority sectors. Advanced use cases such as digital twins and AI-led infrastructure planning will also be discussed. These applications are expected to support better planning, efficiency, and public service outcomes.

Academic and Strategic Significance

The event will include perspectives on global, national, and regional AI strategies. IIT Jodhpur will contribute an academic and research lens, denoting the role of institutions in developing locally grounded and globally relevant AI solutions. Held alongside Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Summit 2026, the conference reflects Rajasthan’s ambition to become a hub for digital innovation and emerging technologies.
