Seven endangered golden langurs rescued from wildlife traffickers in Chirang district were released into Sikhna Jwhwlao National Park on 25 June 2026 after veterinary treatment and monitored rehabilitation.

Species Profile — Golden Langur
- Scientific name: Trachypithecus geei.
