India Chairs 28th IORA Senior Officials Meeting

India hosted the 28th Meeting of the Committee of Senior Officials (CSO) of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) in New Delhi on 15–16 June 2026 during its Chairship for 2025–27.

  • Action Plan 2028–2032: advanced negotiations on a five‑year Action Plan prioritising a peaceful, stable and prosperous Indian Ocean Region.
  • Institutional review: CSO reviewed institutional progress and priority areas for implementation during the Chairship.
