The two-day Black Swan Summit India has begun in Bhubaneswar under the Odisha Government’s BharatNetra initiative. The event aims to position Odisha as an emerging centre for Artificial Intelligence, FinTech and InsurTech, while supporting the state’s long-term Vision 2036-2047 through practical steps in digital finance and advanced technologies. It is the first edition of the summit being held in India and has drawn more than 1,700 delegates from 24 countries.
Key Objectives of the Summit
The summit focuses on building a stronger ecosystem for innovation, digital transformation and technology-led growth in Odisha. It seeks to connect policy, industry and academia for the adoption of advanced technologies in governance and finance.
Global Participation and Knowledge Exchange
Nearly 100 speakers from five continents are taking part in the summit. Their participation is expected to bring global perspectives on emerging technologies, financial innovation and regulatory practices. The large international presence marks the summit’s growing relevance in the global technology and finance landscape.
Skill Development and Employment Focus
A job fair has been organised alongside the summit to create career opportunities for young people. The employment-focused initiative reflects the state’s effort to link technology events with skill development and workforce readiness. Such measures are aimed at improving access to jobs in new-age sectors.
High-Level Participation and State Vision
