The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by the Prime Minister, approved the construction of a Central Government Office (CGO) complex in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, with an outlay of ₹1,299 crore. Spanning 5.53 acres, the project will be executed by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) to consolidate central administrative operations and reduce leasing costs.
